BharatCaller - TrueCaller Indian Alternative

A Team of Engineers from Bangalore and Noida have developed BharatCaller, which is a 100% Indian alternative to TrueCaller. It took them about 4 months to develop this app. BharatCaller Caller ID is extremely safe and secure and even its own employees do not have any access to the data. The app is run through complex algorithms that leverage the power of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Why was BharatCaller created?

Last year, when TrueCaller was banned by the Indian Army, Kunal and Prajjwal realized the importance of privacy and how much data is available to foreign companies. Not only do these companies dominate the Indian Market, but they also jeopardize the National Security of India. Hence, Prajjwal and Kunal decided to build a more secure caller id app that is 100% Made in India.

How is BharatCaller better than TrueCaller?

BharatCaller is a very secure app and is built in such way that even its own employees do not have access to the data stored in its database.
Here are some features of BharatCaller that makes it better than TrueCaller:

  • BharatCaller never uploads call logs or user contacts to even its own servers. 

  • All the BharatCaller servers are situated in India.

  • All the data is stored in encrypted formats.

  • Even its own employees do not have access to the phone numbers database.

  • While more than 50% of TrueCaller's employees are Non-Indians, BharatCaller is completely Indian and is built in Bangalore and Noida.

Who are the people behind BharatCaller?

BharatCaller has been developed by Bangalore and Noida based KickHead Softwares Pvt. Ltd. KickHead Softwares is also the winner of National Startup Awards 2020 by Govt. of India and were amongst the top 15 startups to represent India in Vivatech Europe 2020 which was address  Hon'ble PM Narendra Modi. es by Hon'ble PM Narendra Modi.
The founder are Prajjwal Sinha, Ranjita Singh and Kunal Pasricha.
Kunal is a Full Stack Developer and has developed numerous android apps in the past. He has worked in WigWag and ARM (The Semiconductor Giant).
Prajjwal is a Computer Science Engineer and an Alumnus of IIM Bangalore. He has worked in companies like McAfee, Intel and TCS. 
Ranjita Singh is an Alumnus of St. Aloysius and takes care of User Experience and Design.
